Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 10 AM to 2 PM for a special Free Admission Day featuring our current exhibition, “If Patchwork Were a Storyteller,” by Monette Bourque.
Spend part of your day exploring Monette’s beautifully detailed fiber works and the stories woven throughout them, then continue your evening in downtown Lake Charles for the City of Lake Charles’ White Linen Night from 5 to 9 PM. It’s the perfect way to start your White Linen Night festivities with a little art, history, and inspiration along the way!

Come meet the storyteller behind the stitches!
Join us at the Imperial Calcasieu Museum on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM for a special Free Admission Day featuring “If Patchwork Were a Storyteller,” by Monette Bourque.
And from 12 to 2 PM, Monette will be joining us in the gallery for a special artist talk! Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from Monette about her creative process, the inspiration behind her work, and some of the incredible stories woven into the pieces on display. Whether you are discovering the exhibition for the first time or returning to see it again, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the work through the artist’s own words and perspective.
