The Lighting of the Oak is the Imperial Calcasieu Museum’s signature annual fundraising gala, celebrating creativity, culture, and community through an unforgettable evening of art and philanthropy. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the ICM is dedicated to promoting the unique culture and heritage of Southwest Louisiana by supporting the arts, preserving history, and providing educational opportunities for all ages. Proceeds from Lighting of the Oak help sustain museum exhibitions, educational programs, community initiatives, and preservation efforts.
