EDUCATION
The Imperial Calcasieu Museum aims to preserve and celebrate Southwest Louisiana’s culture by providing high-quality, accessible educational programming that enhances school curricula and promotes lifelong learning.
ARTS & CULTURE
The museum showcases Southwest Louisiana talent through many exhibits like “Becoming Her” and “The Residency,” featuring artists from emerging voices to regional icons—highlighting its strong commitment to the local arts community.
CULTURAL LEGACY CAMPAIGN
Under the Cultural Legacy Campaign, your contributions will support the Imperial Calcasieu Museum and all of its mission pillars. These pillars include the preservation of SWLA history, supporting regional arts, and enriching the community through educational programming. We understand that your dollars are extremely important, so know that for us every single dollar counts, and more than 93% of your dollars are spent in the local economy.
With your sponsorship, you have the option to donate directly to the Cultural Legacy Campaign to help support all of our programming, or you have the option to support individual programming that aligns with your values and mission. In the next few pages, you’ll find options for upcoming programming for 2025 that you can select from. Please feel free to select the options that best suit your mission up to the yearly contribution total you have committed.

HOW SPONSORSHIPS AFFECT US
Sponsorship serves as our primary budgetary lifeblood here at the ICM. Programs that are built from the ground up utilizing community support are and will continue to be one of our primary focuses. Sponsored activities make up nearly two-thirds of our total budget year on year and are projected to continue to do so. We are reliant upon the community to which we serve. We are steadfast in our mission and vision and cannot thank you enough for your support throughout the decades!
- Sponsored Activities include Branch Out Art Camps, Residency at the Museum, Educational field trips, fundraisers, exhibit sponsorships.
- Grants serve a supplementary role in ICM’s finances.
