The Opening Reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held on August 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Larry Schuh has collected a diverse array of artwork through print exchanges and personal collecting, each piece a testament to his deep-rooted passion for the arts. His collection is a vibrant tapestry reflecting his rich interactions with numerous talented artists across various mediums. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore artworks that highlight exceptional skills and creativity, from intricate prints to striking ceramic pieces.

Larry Schuh is a producing artist and educator working in a variety of processes. He lives in Crowley, Louisiana, and serves as a professor at McNeese State University. His work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions, and he is in demand for panels, lectures, and workshops around the country.

Members of the Museum are invited to an exclusive opportunity to interact with Larry Schuh on September 5th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Schuh will be giving a gallery talk highlighting his years as a working artist, personal stories about special pieces, inspirations behind his amassed collection, and anecdotal tales from his experiences with mentors and students.
