The Lighting of the Oak: The Lighting of the Oak is not only a great way to advertise your business but an elegant evening of entertainment. Guests can enjoy cocktails and hors-d'oeuvres and an evening under the stars whilst surrounded by the creativity of Southwest Louisiana artists. Funding from our annual fundraiser provides the capital necessary to support the Museum's continuation of community outreach through exhibits and events which encourage participation in visual arts, and educational programming, and preserve the history of our unique cultural heritage. With our Lighting of the Oak Sponsorships, we will present your business name or logo on our donor wall and on the printed media.
Spirits Under the Oak: Come hear the spooky ghost tales told by local Historian Adley Cormier under the shadowy boughs of the Sallier Oak. Explore the paranormal tales and other strange artifacts in our Haunted Histories exhibit. To further delight our visitors, Spirits will also debut the sculptural works of Jen Van Putten, Ashton Cessac, and Mary Williams. This will be a frightfully great sponsorship opportunity that comes with some Halloween festivities. Be careful, this exhibit might haunt you even after your visit!
Upcoming Exhibits: A special featured opportunity that could make a difference is our Exhibit Sponsorship. Pledging your support to one of our upcoming Visual Arts or History Exhibits shows your individual support of SWLA artists and history. Call us today to see what exhibits are available for your Feature.
